Hi, i was on holidays and my ipod touch got wet. I left it out in the sun for a few hours, turned it on and it just went to a white screen. I plugged it into my computer this morning and it comes up and all the music is still there.

Has anyone ideas if i can get this one fixed, or at a last resort someone who would be able to transfer my music to a new one?

    Thank you.

As a precautionary measure, you should download SharePod (http://www.getsharepod.com/) which can extract all of your music from your iPod to a file so even if it stops responding you can still access the music and transfer it to a different iPod - windows only program btw.

It's hard to say with water damage which exact component is damaged, and it's the type of thing where as in it could work for a week and then stop. I would like to think it's a problem with the screen but you never know.
