    Hi all

I am a cork fan who has to attend a family function in Killarney on the saturday before the All Ireland. I am hoping to get tickets for the all Ireland but heres hoping

I am in a bit of a conundrum, Just checked the first train from Killarney and it seems that it is all booked out.

If anyone can offer alternatives or even driving up from Killarney would be appreciated

I would be willing to pay my share re petrol but I am hoping that i will be able to go to the match.

    Kind regards
    Padraic

One possibility is a flight from Farranfore direct to Dublin with ryanair. Leaves early at 6.30am, one way for €50.

That train is not booked up if you were just travelling from Killarney to Cork Mallow. Its booked up from Cork Killarney to Dublin so you could try (and I would'nt condone it) stay on the train (i.e. not get off in Mallow) as it will be packed and I doubt there will be inspectors :D

Looks like the flight could be the best bet. Early start, or perhaps you can just keep going from the night before. Sould be easly enough to get a taxi to farranfore from Killarney.

Even if a train is all booked, only some of the seats on a normal train are bookable, so unless there is some special arrangement for this train, you can just turn up at the station and get on. I'm sure you'll definitely get a seat to Mallow, but then you'll change to the Cork - Dublin train, where you'll have to take your chances on the day.

True true will weigh up all my options

Have tickets for the game now so obviously be very important to get to the match

Sure will work it out all right rang the station they informed me that to get the first train to be there at 7.10... which is probably my best option i say

    Cheers
