Ford Focus timing belt or chain

    Hi, I am going looking at a Ford Focus van 1.6 TDCi today and wanted to know if these have a timing belt of are they chain.

    I'm fairly sure its a belt, there'll be wiser heads then me along shortly. Good luck with it!

    As cronin_j & JamBur have said its belt driven...It also has a chain connecting both camshafts within the head....but this should not need renewing..:)
