I killed my pistol a while ago - that's how badass I am - so I'm looking for something to put in the holster.

It's just for show, really, so I'm looking to spend as little as possible. Not fussy about the model and happy enough to take a springer. It just needs to be basically functional, and reasonably sturdy should I decide to accidentally apply this one to the ground in the middle of a game. :D

    Dublin city meetup, preferably.

    Hi Jill,

I have a couple of very nice springers, one M9 I have might suit, very heavy (slide could be metal, can't remember), think I also have a 226, a 1911, and a Desert Eagle, will let you know and hopefully get pics up when I finish work and get home. Could be after five though.

    Cheers

    Hi Jill,

Here are a few pistols I have at the moment, I even chronographed the springers for the craic:

1911: springer, 1 mag and dummy red dot, 130fps, 10Euro

    Sig P228: springer, 3 mags, 110fps, 10Euro

Desert Eagle: battery operated, 1 mag, no batteries to test it but very low fps more for fun than anything, 10Euro

M9: springer, 1 mag, full metal apart from mag, grips and trigger, very nice weight to it, 150fps, 20Euro

Savaging Bull revolver: gas, six shells, slight leak in valve, great revolver, 210fps, 30Euro

Glock 17: Gas, Seriously good camo job (obviously not done by me so), no mag but lovely pistol. 60Euro

Let me know what you think

    Cheers

My head says the Sig, but my heart says "Ooh, a revolver!"

How leaky is it? Does it fly through gas?

    Hi Jill,

It's hit and miss with the leak, so probably just a oring or valve, I would imagine it is a easy fix, but just never got round to sending it back, only discovered the leak after it was on the shelf for a couple of months and I wanted to try it again one day. Bought it on a whim and never used it apart from out the back. Lovely piece of kit though, especially when loading the shells.

    Cheers
