Hi all, looking to buy a shotgun mic, but im a bit lost as to what to buy, im going to buy of Thomann.de as i've heard good things about them, but im lost on which one to pick

    http://www.thomann.de/ie/cat.html?gf=microphones_for_video&oa=pra

Basically im asking, which of the shotgun mics on there for under €100 would be the best buy?
It will be mostly used for making short films

    Any help appreciated, Thanks you:)

The Sennheiser MKE400 would probably do the job with a camcorder.

Also consider the Sennheiser ME66 plus wind sock if you have a bolt on XLR microphone adaptor. I am very impressed with this microphone which is pretty difficult to tell apart from the much more expensive classic film/eng gun mic the MKH416.

I would advise spending a bit more rather than a bit less if you can.

    eBay is worth a look.
