I know that this week they're doing postgrad registration, with taught in the morning and research in the evening. Anyone know if they've got it timetabled, or can you register at any time provided it's taught/research-appropriate?

    Thanks in advance

I didnt even realise it was organised by taught/research courses? The info I have just lists a load of times from the 14th to 17th so I was just gonna go whenever!

Oops just found this. http://www.tcd.ie/Graduate_Studies/prospectivestudents/pgregistration/index.php (pdf timetable)

Looks like they dont care as long as you go to the correct slot. To be honest, i think it's just a ploy to avoid congestion so i wouldnt worry too much about going to the wrong one!

I registered on tuesday for a taught course in the "research slot" in the afternoon. The letter I got didn't say anything about specific times for registering for taught courses or courses by research but it was posted on the door of the hall. After travelling queuing I panicked, but the ladies at the door told me it didn't matter which i was registering for. So you cant go at anytime of the day be it research or a taught course!

    Best of Luck!:D
