Hey and welcome to the wrestling forum.

Do you know which group it is that is putting the show on? Most groups will put on a family-friendly show. The only thing is it's a massive step-down from what your son would see on TV each week, so this might be a factor for him not enjoying it. Most kids I have seen at shows have loved it but I think the youngest I have seen at a non-WWE show is 6 or 7.

IWW I'd say. Is one of them holding a hurley and an Easons' bag?

    Yeah its iww.

International it aint. But Irish, it definitely is.

Strangely enough I took my nephew to one a few years back and afterwards he seemed deflated, when I asked him why he told me the wrestling wasn't the same as he was used to. (big flashing lights, pyro, recognisable faces, high spots).

So maybe him being 4, the same ideas won't even come to mind but that does seem to be a perfect age. :)

Hope yous do have loads of fun and enjoy the experience :)

Aye like the lads said that sounds exactly like IWW.

IWW is a very safe bet for your son, I think he'd have a brilliant time at one of their shows.

What time does it start? Might be up for this.

And what is the official IWW website?

Thats one of our own shows, your son should be fine to attend it maybe dont sit too close as the only real complaint we have got is that noise of the ring is loud for small kids, otherwise he should enjoy it it may not change his life but its 2 hours of entertainment and he will get to meet the wrestlers and get autographs at the intermission!

Sorry about the website its fairly bad that its never really working but there is a Facebook page that you can contact people on its under Irish Whip Wrestling (IwW Official)

Thanks. The start time is 7.00pm not 7.30. Just took a poster from wall of complex. There was plenty of them up and little man was going mad for one. He thinks the characters are sting/sharkboy etc. Looking forward to a good night. Thanks again;)

Hi all. Just updating after last nights wrestling in Glasnevin. We had a great night, and so did everyone else by the sound of it. Little man got photo with Mandrake with belts etc. He was over the moon. We were right beside ring, so he also got to high five most of em too. They took the fight outside the ring a couple of times which added to the entertainment. I'll definitely bring him to the next one, wherever it's on.
    Thanks all...................;)
