If we are coming off the M6 about 8, should a hour be enough time to get to that area or am I dreaming?

The M6 finishes at Kinnegad, you then continue on the M4/N4 to Heuston Station and the city quays.

Alternatively take South Circular Road / the canal from before Heuston Station.

Its quite possible you'll need more than an hour from the M50.

definitely more than an hour, the quays are terrible, the SCR/canal corridor is terrible.
    good luck with it...
