    There is already plenty of BBC programmes available in HD.

    BBC1 HD will be just BBC1. It will be a simulcast of BBC1 in England.

    Anyone got an idea as to what percentage of ITV1 HD shows are acually in native HD instead of just being upscaled from SD? What kind of percentage can we expect to see for BBC1 HD?

    most of the during the day stuff will be upscaled, primetime will see the % of native HD increase. they'll also have to service BBC HD though so i doubt it will all be HD

    BBC HD is to cover BBC2,3 & 4, and I think I've seen adds for cbeebies/ cbbc on the HD channel too, so it mightn't be too far off.

    true, i meant in terms of HD equipment, it will have to be shared so all HD cameras won't just be for BBC1 HD, which could mean less content than if they were only servicing 1 channel
