Are PCIe SSDs a standard size?

    Hi, the PATA SSD in my sister's netbook (Dell Inspiron 9) died.

    A friend told me that many SSDs are non-standard so that I would have to look for a replacement specific to that netbook range.

    Is this true? Is it not just the case of buying any PATA SSD?

    Dimensions say 2 inches x 1.2 inches which seems non-standard, but I'm just making sure before I throw away money on it...
