Are PCIe SSDs a standard size?

Hi, the PATA SSD in my sister's netbook (Dell Inspiron 9) died.

A friend told me that many SSDs are non-standard so that I would have to look for a replacement specific to that netbook range.

Is this true? Is it not just the case of buying any PATA SSD?

This is the one I'm looking at as a replacement: http://www.activemp.com/SSD/Dell-Mini-9-PCIe-SSD-upgrade2.htm

Dimensions say 2 inches x 1.2 inches which seems non-standard, but I'm just making sure before I throw away money on it...
