Can anyone recommend a good PCI card for my HTPC that is compatible with DTT here?

Any DVB-T device with bda drivers.

There will be a second mux eventually so a dual tuner might be an idea.

If you think you might ever pickup UK freeview then DVB-T2. Otherwise 100% what Bob Harris says.

you could also look at a dual tuner DVB-S2 DVB-T card which would let you pick up FTA sat channels plus the DVB-T on one card, you will of course then need both a satellite plus aerial

Get a Blackgold BG3595. Dual DVBS2 and dual DVBT in one card. one aerial input for DTT and the card internally handles the dual DTT. card is about 160 eur from Blackgold.tv. excellent value and works great.

I've read great reviews on this, but no DVB-T2, which is a major shortfall for those living SE coast or in border counties from 2013.

The best fix for this scenario is just buy a separate DVB-T2 card.

Who knows, maybe there will be a perfect PCI card in 2.5 years time for those who pick up from NI

Yes, combo DVB=S2/DVB-T2 cards dont exist yet but I am sure they are on the way. If you cant pick up the UK Freeview feeds then this is the card for you as DVB-S2/DVB-T2 cards are likely to be expensive for no additional use if you cant see freeview. DVB-S2 in combo cards is quite unusual as it is.

Note this card is PCI-e half height.

have blackgold sorted their driver issues then?previous models were pretty much unusable due to the hit and miss nature of their drivers, have steered well clear of them for that reason

Yes, drivers corrected with new release on 8/9. Works perfectly in my HTPC on all four tuners. Really is a great card and a bargain at the price for what it is.

    Thanks for the replys guys.

I for some reason thought I needed a DVB-T2 card to pick up DTT. I have been looking for one for ages and of course couldnt find one.

I currently have a DVB-S2 card, single tuner and was going to just add a dual DVB-T card. I dont watch that much TV and only want the DVB-T so I can watch some GAA games as RTE is not FTA on Sat.

I did look at the blackgold card some time ago but was put off by people saying they has issues with WMC.................can anyone confirm they now work with Media Center?
