Hi, So here we go.. Im coming up to maybe 4 / 5 months without work and am thinking of travelling around Europe. I have this fantasy about buying a van (vw camper pleease!) and driving through France, the lowlands, into Germany . Not to sound too twee, but 'where ever the road takes me' basically. Hi,
So here we go.. Im coming up to maybe 4 / 5 months without work and am thinking of travelling around Europe. I have this fantasy about buying a van (vw camper pleease!) and driving through France, the lowlands, into Germany . Not to sound too twee, but 'where ever the road takes me' basically.

Does anyone have any experience on buying a left hand drive car in Europe? How does the insurance side of it work ? Will I be able to get insured right away in say, france?
