Here, we are going to have to get a seperate forum for the Pats.

I come on here to see whats happening in DCU, not to hear about some little teacher training spot.

Hi. I've join this forum a month ago and in that time, the amount of St Pat's related threads I've come across is completely noticeable!
By right, I should be free to click on any thread in the DCU forum and not have to swamp through St. Pat's business to find my precious DCU chit chat, regardless of whether or not "St. Pat's Freshers Week" is the title. We in DCU shouldn't have to be exposed to the discussions of those DCU students who don't study on the same campus as us. Ridiculous!
Trust me guys, I know the ins and outs of this website better than anyone and I think it would be best if we put these distracting threads in a place of their own.
I mean, come on! How annoying!

OP, I'd keep an eye on the Pat's SU Facebook account. I'm sure they'll have stuff posted there, or you can ask them yourself, looks like it's well updated: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Dublin-Ireland/StPats-Students-Union/141273326101

DCUSU n Pats SU are workin together on one or two of Pat's freshers events this year so its guna be your business because ther planin a serious DCU and Pat's night out... Thats is if ya can tear yourself away from this forum to go out!:p

Anywho Pats is a part of DCU so where else are Pats students guna chat about Pat's stuff?! If it affects ya so much Diarmsquid ask the Mods to put up a Pats Sticky or sumtin where we all Pat's related craic can go..

Otherwise just dont click into stuff like this that is clearly marked St.Pat's!!

We of St Pat's bow to your vastly superior knowledge ;)

St. Patrick's is a part of DCU and students there are just as allowed to post stuff here as the rest of us.

If there's enough demand for it I can make a sticky which would deal with all St. Pat's discussion, but there's definitely not a need for a seperate forum so for now there's nothing wrong with these threads.

If it's becoming such an issue for you, then I suggest that you start a thread here: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=461 and see if you have the support for a specific forum for St Pats.

However as Daysha has previously mentioned there is not enough demand for one, so I doubt your request will be approved

Well his girlfriend is very friendly with the Clubs and Socs Officer in the College, so he does have the inside track on SU affairs.

Freshers week sounds good. Same as Last year really.
Not sure about Quinns for County Colours, perfect location, but will be jammers.
Graffiti night to kick it all off. Some craic last year.

Can't wait. 9 more lesson plans and we're on the beer!
Ph to be a fresher again!
