I had the cows in on saturday for Scanning.

The sky was blue and the sun shining so I did the calves with the Pour On also. (did them already in July).

anyway, about 45 mins later the mother and Father of a shower came.

the 45 mins they got was of sun and great breeze.

the instructions say they need 2 hours without rain - will I get any good out this Pour on at all do you think.

i dont understand why you would dose them before housing , the norm is to do them a few weeks after housing , a waste of money imo to do them before housing

I meant dosing with Fasinex AT housing. Fasinex kills all stages of fluke as opposed to others who will kill mature and adult (depending on product) so therefore the reason you wait a few weeks is to allow the fluke to reach a certain stage.

by doing with fasinex it kills all stages so you don't have the hastle of getting them out of the shed again 3 to 4 weeks later.

The reason I do the calves and nothign else iwth fasinex is that calves are relatively easy to dose as opposed to cows or stronger cattle.
