Band Name: As of yet, undecided.
Band Genre: Rock/Heavy Rock mix, with a decent contrast of light songs and heavy songs.
Band Location: Located in Dublin, we currently rehearse in Muzzle Music out in Chapelizod.
Influences: Musically, so far the bands tunes are currently along the lines of Muse, Fightstar, Alter Bridge, (early!) Radiohead, Chevelle, Breaking Benjamin, SOAD, Tool, Deftones, Foo Fighters......
Band members personal influences vary also from the very progressive, to rock singer-songwriters like Jeff Buckley, to mad heavy stuff like Arch Enemy and Lamb of God.....essentially, we are into pretty much everything, and are up for incorporating various styles into our sound, except Death Metal growling. Thereare enough bands around that can handle all that jazz!:) The band is very new and we are still finding our sound, which also means it is easily open to your preferences also.
Positions Available: Bassist!! male or female or other, we aint picky!
Desired Age Range: 21+...not to seem ageist, but we would like someone with a bit of life experience/maturity behind them that can take a band seriously, work hard and have a blast all at the same time. Basically not some immature douche who gets hammered before each gig!
Available Sound Samples: As of yet, we have no samples, though I am currently in the middle of mixing two tracks. I will hopefully have one finished by the end of the week, with the second one following shortly after.

Additional Info: The band is very new but we are all experienced musicians having played in other bands for years. We are serious about this band with an ethos of getting a decent product (ie EP/CD) made within the next year and to promote that product and to give ourselves a decent shot at the music business...all the time gigging around and honing our sound. At the moment, we aim to rehearse once a week, and will hopefully increase this to twice a week as more songs get written. No trying to put people off, but we dont want any time wasters.....
We need someone who is willing to have a blast while doing it too, so make sure your able to enjoy yourself! We want a bandmate, not a band-colleague!

Hi, Im 18 - not immature for a start, rarely drink and want to take a band seriously.

I play guitar and bass. I could sing back up if required. have much equipment (amp, pa etc.) including recording equipment and software such as reason 5, cubase, amplitube (and I know how to use all). I love all the bands you mentioned. Im very creative and have a couple of Songs written and tonnes of riffs ready to be expanded into songs. All your goals seem to double with mine: Get EP out there etc.

Im young but I think I could bring much to your band and would love an opportunity despite my age ...... Dont want to write all day if im disqualified straight away for age.
