They never really bothered me that much. I'd be more worried about what that fat ****er from 'go compare' is gonna be up to.

    Man he's one annoying ****.

With the economy in ****e i'd imagine many companies might just re-use last years ads rather than spend money on new ones. We could very well see Smug beardy bastard back!!

I must be the only person on the planet who thinks those ads are actually quite good.

Every time a thread about annoying ads comes up, it's always mentioned.

    Job done, imo.

As much as I hate them, it will be kinda nice hearing that annoying meteor jingle with some cheesy little storyline going on. Roll on the Christmas atmosphere with presents and snow.

Can't be any worse than the current crop of meteor ads...

Anyone recall the meteor "babes" from a few years back? Ah the good old days *cough*

Is it really? I do not have insurance with Go Compare or a mobile phone from Meteor. How is it job done? The purpose of advertising is to get people to buy the product being advertised, not complaining about the advert.

By your logic then, there should be only one mobile phone company, one car insurance company, one supermarket chain, one televi...............

Sure. Good luck with that.

I think the only time annoying ads have ever really worked was with Cillit Bang.
Barry Scott's voice tends to reverberate through your head for days.
