webcam for skype??

    i bought a webcam in argos the cheapest one they had 6.50, but it wouldnt work on skype for whatever reason, any ideas? im planning on buying another one tomorrow but i want to make sure i get the right one!

    Any of the Logitech range should be fine.

    +1 on Logitech

    Look at the specs, most of the time you won't need HD, especially if its just for skype, its unnecessary and may even cause a slow connection. Also, keep it above 640 x 480, that's not a great resolution. You can always go higher and use less but you can't go lower and use more :D

    well, any webcam (even tis cheap one from Argos) will (must) work with skype, no point to spend more money for another webcam.... all you need is to install webcam drivers and change skype settings ... thats it
