Kildare to IPA Ballsbridge Commute

    What would be the best way to travel from Kildare to the IPA on Lansdowne Road, Ballsbridge for 9.30am. Bearing in mind trains terminate at Heuston. Could I drive and park or is all parking in that area pay and display? Traffic at that time? Or public transport?

    You could drive but that area is Pay+Display parking and you are at the mercy of rush hour traffic from the Red Cow onwards. There is a private car park on Shelbourne Road which is about €5 for the day.

    Public Transport options are possibly a Train to Heuston and either hop on the 90 bus or LUAS to get you to the DART and alight at Lansdowne Road which leaves you beside the IPA or the 92 bus from Heuston to Wilton Place; this leaves you about 10-15 minutes walk.
