Hi! I'm just wondering if there are any users of the Say Yes To Carrots/ Tomatoes/ Cucumbers... products on here. Huge range of natural beauty products for all skin & hair types. Not too expensive either. Seems too good to be true. Is it any use at all?

I've used 'Yes to Carrots' and didn't see anything great about it to be honest. Quite greasy and doesn't smell particularly nice. The scrub wasn't particularly good either. I bought an FCUK one since for about €7 in Boots and it's much better.
Haven't tried the cucumber or tomato range though, so can't comment on those.

That's a shame. I love the FCUK scrub & souffle & body spray. I'm trying to give up chemical ingredients and give organic natural products a try.

You could try making your own scrub maybe? A mix of sugar and olive oil if you want to just use natural ingredients. Or have a look in the health shops, though I'd imagine that the natural skincare stuff might be on the expensive side.

I think it's so expensive! I'm a student though, so everything is!

I got Yes to Tomatoes hand lotion (can't remember exactly what it was called) last year and I loved it. My hands are always in a terrible state in Winter and it made them soft and pretty despite the central heating.

I got the carrots shampoo, worked well at first but then dried my hair out like a mother.

I use the Yes To Tomatoes face wash and shampoo. They smell nice but the face wash made my face break out for the first couple of weeks, the moisturizer is fine... but for the price, I wouldn't recommend either and I won't be buying them again.

I got the carrots make up remover, and I love it. It takes everything off and isn't a bit harsh. A few of my friends who borrowed mine have all bought it too.

I have sensitive skin and bought the cleanser and moisturiser from this range because it is paraben free. Big mistake!!! I had red, itchy, dry, painful patches on my face for days.

Having said that, its rare I find a product that I dont have a reaction to. But be warned, just because it claims to be paraben free does not mean its suitable for sensitive skin.

Funnily enough, I love the shower gel and the body butter is ok. I have had no reaction to either, just on my face :o

I've used the carrot moisturiser and shower gel, and the tomato face wash. the carrot range works really well for my combination skin, nice gentle scent and not too rich. the tomato face wash is pretty good, but i find it can be a little drying, so plenty of moisturising after. Dunnes Stores stocks the entire range, and their prices are pretty reasonable. One thing i have found with the moisturisers, the pump bottle last far longer, maybe because you can use a measured dose each time.
