anyone who has bought a Samsung 3D TV, if you want to claim for a free pair of 3D glasses, you can do so from this website.

or how i did it, by emailing them. as the redemption form on the site did not work for me.

    http://www.samsung-connect.co.uk/cmcpage.asp?idpage=1532

copy and paste the above form into your email, and fill in your details, serial number, address, ect...

send the email off to 3DGlasses@samsung-connect.co.uk

they send them out via niteline courier, and i got mine within 2 days of the email confirmation back from them

    ;)

It should be on the side of your tv. Got mine a couple of weeks ago, saved me having to fork out for a second pair.

It will be a long while before you'll be able to see any DVD's in 3D.

    Never, I'd say.

the serial number would be on the back of the tv or on the outside of the box which it was packed it,

it shouldnt matter where the tv was bought as a lot of the tvs would have been made in europe

also samsung tv's have a 2d to 3d conversion mode, and it works on any source, how good it is really is pot luck, sometimes it does add a bit of depth, other times it doesnt do very much

let us know how you get on with receiving your free pair of glasses

most samsung tv's dont come with wifi built into the tv, they require the purchase of an additional samsung wifi dongle that hooks into the usb

i have a le46c750, so i just use an ethernet cable, and internet@tv works just fine

i had your tv before i got the 46c750 lcd 3d tv, i returned it because of this loud audible buzzing noise coming from the centre of the screen, extremely distracting.

you're 50c5900 tv cant do wifi out of the box, it just has an ethernet port for it like mine, to make it wifi enabled you need to buy the samsung wifi dongle.

and yeah i also have the bd-c6900 samsung bluray player, this does have wifi built in and works a charm, i have it setup to connect to my internet via wifi and also to stream films and tv shows on my laptop.

but since i wouldnt use the bluray player as much as the tv, and when the tv has pretty much the same features as the bluray player, i mainly use the TV

    Hi
I am lost now if the player is wifi and connected to the tv with htmi why would I need the dongle

no need to be lost, you just need to have the bluray player turned on to access its features, i leave mine off unless im watching a bluray thus i use the tv features more, which are more or less the same as the bluray player minus the wifi feature
