Thanks, but I've checked things a bit more carefully and I think it's a 1A that i need.

I have an A1 stem also. Only problem is the pinch bolt, that secures the handlebars is missing.
If you are interested? Will check to see what length it is.
Are you doing a 1980's period restoration, of a old colnago perhaps?:)

    Happy Cycling:)

I might have the pinch-bold - I have a stem which is too long. I need the shortest stem available.
    It's for a 1979 TI Raleigh.

That's a fabulous looking bike. I've a hankering to do a retro build myself at some stage and that would be my ideal choice. Good luck with it.

    Hi there,
I checked the length or those stems. I have a 9cm and a 9.5cm Cinelli 1A stems, both needing new pinch-bolts. These are in perfect condition and still very shiny.
I got tired of my handlebars moving during big efforts, with a 1A stem. So I eventually bought a Cinelli XA :) That was back in the mid 80s. Thankfully the quill stem, has been consigned to the history books:)
Do you plan to ride your retro TI raleigh? Is it 531c or 753 tubing?
I have some Record brake calipers, you may be interested in also:)

Will sell either of the 1As for €40. Or perhaps You have something interesting to swap???

    Happy Cycling:)

Thanks. They start at 8cm so I think I'll wait to see if I can get one.
It's a 531 frame - strictly for posing on in the summer evenings and giving some of the young ones a land if they put the foot to the floor (even though I have a hankering for l'Eroica - maybe when I'll retire)
