Hi all was wondering if anyone could help me out.

I've been having issues with my system and I have to return my graphics card to Aria now.

But I have a mates old GeForce 7300 LE installed and my system is only using 1.99gb of 4gb available RAM.

In resource monitor it says around 2gb is being reserved for hardware i will attach a screenshot below

I have searched google and seen a few people with similar issues. Could anyone tell me how to turn on Memory Remapping on a MSI P55 GD80?

I heard this may help. Also if you can think of anything else that may help that would be great too.

I have moved the ram sticks around, updated to the latest bios and checked msconfig for the memory restriction but nothing helped.

    Thanks in advance
    Baz

Does your system's BIOS report all 4GB of RAM?

Sorry, this doesn't actually answer your question, but I'm more curious than anything else.

Could you open msconfig, click on the Boot tab, select your OS and click on Advanced options...? Make sure that Maximum memory is unchecked?
