The standard advice for these situations is to try and find an Irish pub or club. There should be one somewhere in the city, if not a few. Do a little research in the meantime and you may find a few places to check, especially if you get there on Saturday.

There is an Irish pub called O'Neills located near the Theatre Royal in the city centre. If you cant find it, go to the tourist office just off Old Market Square (big open square in city centre) and they should point you in the right direction.
