    Hi
    I have finally got round to connecting the second lnd lead to my foxsat LNBin 2 i think it is labelled . I can record one channel whilst watching another . this i have tried but and i dont know if this is normal or not i still cannot watch ALL channels whilst i am recording . Film four for example was unavailable .
    Any advice greatly appreciated .

    re-do the install / setup from scratch. The unit does not realize the 2nd cable is connected - since it only checks this when you setup the unit from scratch. its a known issue - documented in the manual i think.

    Yes that is most likely your problem. You will need go do a full reinstall.

    Other possibilities to check:

    1. You have connected the second cable to the LNB out connector on the back of the box. Easy to do if the back of the box is facing away from you.

    2. Faulty f connections on the second cable

    Note: if you have stuff on series link the reinstall will wipe the schedule, so you might want to write down what's series linked in advance and then redo the series links afterwards

    Cheers to both of you for that . Ive re downloaded the manual as well .i suppose at sometime i will have to start reading it . Thanks for the help .much appreciated
