planning permission for fence

    It says here that a fence above 1.2 meters need planning. I though you could go to four feet without pp? Four feet is just over 1.2 meters isn't it? If i drop to 3 feet I do not need planning

    3 ft. or 0.9m would be fine.

    We don't use feet anymore either, most of irelands laws are in metric (some exceptions). so they generally aren't in whole feet numbers.
    you can built to 1200mm, which is 3'11"
    Using the all the available height woulf be better than going back to 3ft
