Sorry to disagree, but was in yesterday and, like previous years, find there is a lot of rubbish out of date toys, over-priced to make the 50% off look like a bargain.

Well I'm saying thanks OP, was in today and they had a good range mostly aimed at upto 10 year olds. Disney Princess Dolls for 8 euro, Barbie\Bratz stuff, Lego, cars etc.
Got some good buys with xmas in mind, would suit low income familys dreading xmas

Got a big bag of soldiers for €2 in a discount shop:pac: Heatons toy sale is rubbish, only things that might be of interest are the jigsaws.

Had this last year as well. There is no way someone could charge double the price for most of the toys on offer and expect to sell them, so I would be very sceptical about the 50% off bit.

Actually had a look at about 4 toys and priced them on Amazon for comparison, found that the 2 baby dolls were half price by comparison, there was another older baby doll that was only about 7/8e off not half price and cant remember what the other toy was, but it was about 1/4 off. None of them where what could be called high demand or popular toys, but all looked good and if your children are not brainwashed by tv then you would be ok.

I was there too and some of the things they had for "sale" was actually 2 Euro cheaper in Tommys in the Blanch centre.
