Great to hear Dave Redmond on the radio again, he was in his element tonight playing some great music too.

Was thinking lately the show had been getting a bit bland and repetitive.

Any Friday Night 80s can be played at any time and no one would be able to tell which edtion was being played or indeed if there has ever been more than one original show!

I thought he was Bob Conway until he announced himself as Dave Redmond.

btw where has Tim Kelly gone? I though he was going to Nova when he left Today fm but he hasnt shown up there.

So who has presented Friday Night '80s on Today FM?

Here's what I have come up with:
    Declan Meehan
    Stephen Keogh
    Tim Kelly
    Phil Cawley
    Derek Flood
    Dave Redmond

Did Bob Coway do a bit of swing jock for that show, perhaps?

    Is that the full list?

Bob Conway has done it. Jim O'Neill too. Think Marty Miller and Anne Marie Kelly covered the show too.

Heard Tim Kelly on Today FM earlier that morning, standing in for either Dempsey or D'Arcy (was rushing around getting ready for work, so can't remember whether it was before or after 9am). He mentioned alright that he wouldn't be on the 80s show that night, but I think he said he'd be back on it again soon... anybody remember?

You're getting a little bit mixed up there. Phil Cawley was who you heard earlier in the day. He just wasn't doing 80's as he had filled in for Darcy.

AFAIK Tim Kelly stayed at Today FM in a swing capacity and does a bit more with his ghost stuff now.
