Depending on the frame (dropdowns) you can convert a racer to a fixed gear (1 gear) bike where the pedals keep moving the whole time. They're beloved of cycle couriers and absolute spas.

I was really surprised when I seen a cycle courier using one of those. Why do people use them? Whats wrong with a normal bike?

i always imagined electrogrimey to be a scenster like in that song, ever since he tried to defend the degenerates that were in those VVIP awards pics.

They're a lot more pleasant to cycle and tend to be a lighter.

What I always find startling about these types (and I've had only limited experience with said types) is the ridiculous femininity of the lads.

I remember being at a night in town, and just turning to my mate and saying the only way you could describe the majority of lads there was as 'guys who look like they were sh1t at sports'. Honestly there wasn't one of them taller than 5'8.

The fact is lads that I think we are just old. This hipster thing is just a new fad of which there have been very many over the decades that the older generations just don't get and so slag off. Looking at some of the pix from the C.U.N.T nights etc - yeah it looks pretty crazy (we talked about this is the random thread a bit) but I say fair play to them. They do take metrosexual a bit far cause some of them look frutier than a nutcake but are perfectly hetro. Weird.

ive never felt old til i came back here.
i think your right though but the advantage of being old is that we can spot what is false.
hate to use the term cool but its much more about how you dress.

i kinda feel sorry for the first fella who dressed like this and was genuinely original.:)
