    Hi,please help for answer :o
    I am single mum and have 2 an a half old child and have one parent family payment from social service about 17 months, can I claim for One Parent Family tax credit in Revenue.ie? :confused:

    Is the One Parent payment your only income. Are you/were you employed?

    I have rent allowance and child benefit and was working in 2007...:(

    You should take your last P60 to the local tax office. They will do a balance for you and will let you know if they owe you or you owe them !!!! Note you should do this asap as you can now only go back 4 years if you want to reclaim tax.

    You cannot claim tax on your state payments. They are not taxable.
