Just flicking through the Sky EPG and noticed that ESPN is on freeview this weekend.

That means that two Premiership matches are available FTA. :)

    Leicester vs Exeter, Saturday 4:45pm
    Saracens vs Sale, Sunday 2:15pm

We get the 3 ESPN channels and Setanta Ireland on our UPC package. I didn't think we were paying any extra for them but now you've got me thinking.

Any opinion on the quantity of coverage by EPSN? its a 10er off the basic package a month, debating whether its worth it? :)

Well the pre-game analysis of Tigers vs Exeter (about 40 minutes of it) was very impressive. Included Ben Kay's insight into a Leicester player's build up to the match.

Watched two games this weekend and I've been so impressed with ESPN's coverage.

The ML will never come close to the Premiership with broadcast standards like that.

I particularly liked how they had a seperate forwards analyst (Ben Kay) and a backs analyst (Austin Healey). The winning coach joining the panel at the end is a nice touch too. They set aside a lot of time before and after the game which is great.

I would subscribe only I'm not that interested in the Premiership tbh.

Excellent coverage from ESPN, very professional and had some interesting characters as expert analysis (Austin Healy for one).

And I'm ashamed to admit it but with all the rugby I watched this weekend the best games were the Aviva Premiership matches live on espn. I particularly enjoyed watching the newly promoted Exeter 'nearly' pulling off a huge shock at Welford Rd, Hayes was awesome as captain and Steenson looks like a quality option for the International squad as a replacement fly half to Sexton.
