Snipped - Thanks Pookah, I'm sure this was well intended bit as soon as something mentions "Monster" it's a turn-off here !

Isopropyl alcohol is good.. you can get it in some pharmacies and make up your own solution rather than forking out stupid money on pre-prepared stuff

    Serious answer:

Microfibre cloth, slightly dampened. Don't use alcohol wipes as they may damage the anti glare coating. If there is grease, add some vinegar to the water you use to dampen the cloth.

Saw Kim and Aggie use a small amount of fabric softener on a cloth, they said it also repels dust from your screen.

As soon as Youtube lady mentioned Monster cleaning fluid I switched off. Monster being the purveyors of the most overpriced av products on the face of the earth.

Microfibre cloth and regular glass cleaner for me with a it of elbow grease. Hasn't harmed my Panasonic PLasmas.

Different TV makers use different screens - its well worth consulting the manual that came with the TV for cleaning instructions. There's no use claiming that you got instructions off the interweb if you accidentally damage the screen coating.

Most manufacturers provide a cloth these days , and recommend using nothing other than a very slightly dampened lint free cloth.

Using any kind of solvent , that means any alcohol based solutions or cleaning products , including "fabric softener" will definitely affect the anti glare coating.

Sorry Kim and Aggie , but you know nothing about Screen technology.

Isopropyl alcohol in its pure form will destroy the coating on one application , thats guaranteed. 6% solutions that you find in most shops , will destroy the coating over approx 5-6 cleans.
