    At all?

I contacted the Fees office and she told me that you need to be out of uni for 5 years before you're elligible, but that seems like bollocks to me because that would pretty much make you a mature student. Also, on the NUI site it gives the requirements for each fee and all it says for 50% Fees is "must be a resident of the EU"

to be eligible for the full grant..reg fee, maintenance, top up etc you have to be resident in ireland for 3 of the last 5 years and have permission to be here.

if your an eu citizen you can apply under the grant scheme but are automatically exclude from some of the above..cant remember which ones...

if your offer of a grant says you get 50% of fees i assume you get for example half the reg fee or half tutition :confused::confused:

Why did the college tell me I had to be out of uni for 5 years then? I imagine it's too late to apply for a grant now :mad:

no, it's not too late to apply for a grant, Dublin councils extended the deadline and a lot of other councils still accept applications

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

true enough the deadline is extended.....why would you take the word of the people in the college..:confused::confused:...the only people anyone should be listening to is the awarding council in their area...
