Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, has anyone installed the esse 350 greenswitch stove? and if so what do you think of it? I'm thinking of replacing my open fire with it and ripping out the backboiler which is a complete waste. Having it heat both the room and rads in the house. Any replies appreciated.

hello,ya i put one in around march of this year.Bit of work involved in getting it into the fireplace and stuff but definatly worth it.It can take massive logs as well as coal(polish coal is not recommended they say!).A decent enough starting fire should have the radiators heating within 15mins and they will stay hot with a shovel of coal or a decent log thrown in every hour or so.If you can get your hands on pallets or scrap timber use that too, i burnt loads of them! So i would definatly recommend, work out how many rads you have and make sure to count the double rads as two, I am running 9 double rads, varous sizes with all of them hopping after half an hour or so!
