So I'm not very good when it comes to technology stuff and am looking for some advice on the best way to watch sky in my bedroom.. the sky box is in the living room directly under the bedroom and have heard about video senders that can do the job..

are they hard to use or expensive? and what are the other options out there??

    thanks!!

    You have 2 options....

    1) Run some coax cable into the bedroom from the RF out of the sky box and you can watch what's displaying on the TV downstairs but you'll have to go downstairs to change channels.

    2) Use one of the numerous video senders (I use an Aldi Medion one) and once properly configured you will be able to watch what ever is displayed on the TV downstairs and you will also be able to change the channel from upstairs.Be aware though that you can't watch a different channel than what's being displayed downstairs without the multi room option.

    Hope this helps! :)

You can use a magic eye to change channels from the second room,

No problem. One thing to note though - with a wireless video sender (about €40) you will have no cabling going between the 2 receivers as it's all wireless and a much neater option imho and the quality of picture of fantastic on the Tevion model that Aldi sell as I've installed one for my mother and she's delighted with it.
