A few days back, Vitor Belfort tweeted and asked Dana White to organise a boxing match so he could take on James Toney and beat him under the Queensbury Rules.

So how does everyone think Vitor would do against James Toney?

I for one think that, if anyone was to have a chance against a class Boxer like Toney, it would be Vitor. And i'd be MUCH more interested in THIS fight than the Randy fight.

I think Vitor would be destroyed. SIMPLE

I think Vitor would win quite easily to be honest, and on a side note-the UFC are not sanctioned to run Boxing matches so i could not see this happening..

Vitor is in Boxing standards OK, and Toney is terrible, check out his last few boxing matches and its clear to see he is finished, embarrassing to be honest..

    I totally disagree with that

They can have an agreement that Vitor won't take the fight to the ground or throw kicks. I think this would be a good publicity stunt all the same. Vitor would win imo.

I'm not too sure about that. Vitor has some great hands and some great speed.

Toney really doesn't have much anymore.

This won't be happening in an Octagon anyway, and i doubt Dana would let him go and fight away from the UFC while under contract.

I think it's just more a case of Vitor throwing a challenge down(that's not going anywhere)

Toney had is 3mins of UFC fame and big pay day, that should be the end of it. Man could harld string a sentence togeather in the post fight interview.

I love both sports and would not like to see anymore of this type of crap
