Wheel for 00 Micra

    Hi!

As someone who hasnt a clue about cars, can anyone tell me where I would pick up a wheel for a 00 Micra? Had to get a new tyre yesterday as one was really bald, and the guy told me that the wheel itself is warped (it doesnt look it, but when he put it on his machine it was rocking), and any tyre I put on on will wear a lot faster than the rest of the tyres. He checked my spare which is not much better, must be why its a spare!

He did suggest going to Nissan and ordering one, but from past experience I assume this will cost me a fortune. I am hoping to get rid of the car in the next year anyhow, so if anyone knows where I might locate one I would really appreciate it. I am in Kildare, but would happily travel within a reasonable distance to get one. Also have ties in Clare, Galway city and Castlebar, and am up and down a lot, so anywhere near there would be good too!

    Thanks a mill

Scrap yard or even a tyre place should have a few wheels that would suit. Even try done deal or something like that.

A car Dismantlers would be your best bet. Try the golden pages for a local one. you may get one with a decent tyre for 20 to 30 euro for a steel wheel. Spare Alloys might be tricky. I assume its a 14 inch wheel you need.

It's probably best not to put up a mobile number on a public forum. PM details if you wish.
