Foundation for Debs

Hi everyone, I've got my debs coming up soon and I'm looking for recommendations for a foundation to wear. I plan on doing my make up myself because I want to keep it quite simple, but I'm not sure if I have a foundation that will last the night. I'm quite pale and have very oily skin and most slide right off quite early. I usually use MAC Studio Fix powder foundation, but often it makes me look too pale and whites me out in photos (of which there'll be a lot of). I'd like something not too expensive but long lasting and with good colour choice.
    Thanks for your help!

Estee Lauder Double wear gives good lasting coverage in my experience.

I was going to suggest this too. Hopefully you can get a pale colour to match your skin tone.

The studio fix gives a matte finish so you need to use bronzer (doesn't have to be much) and blush to help bring you your colour.

If you find that MAC studio fix fluid whites out in photographs it's because titanium dioxide is in the ingrediants. It's used as a barrier SPF so as it's a barrier it reflects the light or flash from the camera which is why people appear white.

You will have this problem with estee lauder doublewear also so if you do wear this, make sure you use bronzer and lots of it.

If you have oily skin use a Matt primer.
The foundations I'd recommend would be makeup forever Matt foundation or MAC full
    coverage with powder.

+ 1 on the Double wear too! Its €34 and the bottle lasts ages!

Even try a boots counter and they may give you a tester to try it before ya buy :D

Go for double wear. They do really pale shades. I would recommend a little bit of bronzer on your face to warm it up a little and pick a warm blush also.

Powder will also help to set the foundation and keep it going all night. Definitely use a primer under the foundation too. Gives the skin a nice, velvety finish.

    Enjoy your debs! :)

Revlon colourstay is very good. Considerably cheaper than mac or estee lauder too
