Guys whats the roundabout cost of having diagnostic test done on a car , just literally to have it plugged in and read with nothing else. thanks in advance!

It depends on the car and dealership.The local VW dealer here charges €50 + vat just to plug it in and give you a diagnosis.

I was charged 30 at an independent for my VW.

I now have a cheapo ebay cable and the freeware VAGCOM so I can do it myself for at most 30 quid.
