I should bring up the fact that as a learner, you shouldn't be driving alone!

I drove alone before passing the test which is illegal but I was told by many people (a ADI also) it is the only way to really learn. The first time I drove alone was after 10 lessons, and a daily half hour drive accompanied by a family/member friend for about 3 or 4 months.
You need to focus now on doing your lessons and practicing as much as possible, you'll get there soon

You have to legally of course drive with a person who has a full licence and new drivers have to get EDT lessons (Essential Driving Lessons) 12 of them in total. each step gets harder and harder but there done in a way suited to pregression (Im learning to drive at the moment)

The EDT lessons I found a list in the order that they come in here: http://www.adidriving.ie/lessons/

    Hope this Helps!:)
