Cut after DQ

    can you still get cut if your card is disqualified in an open comp??

    Probably depends on the reason for the DQ but I would imagine so. I would imagine if the DQ is score related and you still beat CSS after the erroneous score was corrected, then you would get cut. But if you signed for 40 and you were corrected to only getting 36 then you wouldn't obviously. I don't know any of this for sure but I would assume that's the case.

    yes you can if you broke standard scratch but forgot to enter handicap on card or sign your card your score still stands so you will be cut

    yes and it can also work both ways. I.e. you get shots back...

    Yes. A player's handicap record shall include correct scores in a qualifying competition including those which are disqualified for any reason.

    OP was looking for a definitive answer. If you can't provide same, then there's not much point replying with "probably"; "would imagine"; "I don't know any of this for sure"; "I would assume" & the rest of the above rubbish.

    We did not all say "I would assume" I said yes you can as did a number of others so I would say (not I think) he got a definitive answer. We are all trying to answer to the best of our ability
