I ordered a fitted one from promouthguards.ie collecting it later. it works out about 60 as they take a mould of your mouth. My dentist wanted 200 for a fitted one.

You really should get a moulded gum-sheild. If your dentist is too expensive then try someone like promouthguards.ie as suggested by R_Edge as they seem to be the same thing. My dentist made mine 10 years ago and I still use it today.

Any of the universal ones sold in sports shops are no where near as good.

I guess its a case of how much do you value your teeth.

I advise my fighters to get their gumshield from
    http://www.gumshields.com/
they post on the the equipment and dvd with instructions to make your mould of your teeth. post it back and about 2-3 week they send on you custom made gumshield. only costs about 40euro.

Opro is another company that does fitted gumshields. Just bought 2, €95 for both.
