opening a bank account in northern ireland

    i read somewhere in the past week about how you can open a bank account in northern ireland ( say ulster bank ) which has a euro account for paying bills down here , sounds strange i know but the idea is that your money is in a state which is more secure than our own plus you can use it to pay bills on a daily baisis

    what im not clear on is how a sterling account can pay out in euro down here
