Hello, this is my first time to post something so I don't know if it's in de right catagory or anything!!
I have a little problem, I got broadband from 3, it's a little wifi dongle and is pretty good but only works wen it's in my kitchen, I bought it to go online on de ps3 which is in de sitting room but de ps3 won't seem to pick it up wireless from that distance so I bought adapters and an Ethernet cable to connect them but still nothing,

I'm wondering does de dongle need a router and from the router run the Ethernet cable into the sitting room where I have my ps3?

If anyone knows what to do it wud be much appriciated

    thank you!

Basically you're asking can you go online with ps3 using 3 dongle?

Yea you can, and there's two ways.

    1. You can but the Mifi adaptor and use the playstation to connect wirelessly to the dongle. I don't know how to do this, I use 2.

    2. Stick in 3 dongle, go online. Network -> Sharing Center -> Manage Connections -> 1.3G -> Right Click -> Sharing -> Enable sharing.

Disconnect and reconnect via 3connect. Plug in LAN cable and test connection and it *should* work.

Well I know it works, when I have de ps3 in de kitchen it picks up de 3 dongle perfect, it's just when der so far apart they won't recognise each other so il have to connect via Ethernet cable but I can't get them to link together.

When you wer sayin you use no2 are you goin online on a laptop/pc or the ps3, I can't seem to find the settings you talking about!

If you buy a wireless router like the Dovado - see sticky above - your ps3 will pick up the 3 dongle.

btw - think there are text-speak police around these parts.....your use of 'de' will be frowned upon :)

You already have a thread on this, in which you were already warned about the text speak and muppetry. Starting another thread is just more stupidity on your behalf. Don't do this again.
