    Hi,

I'm planning to build a 2000 sq/ft 2 storey house. I am a builder, so will be building it myself with one paid labourer, probably over a period of 10 - 12 months. I will do everything except the plumbing and electrical works.

Can anyone give a a rough budget cost per sq/ft for the materials? I know I'm a builder, but I'm not to got with figures!

It will be a well finishes house but I may go for roof tiles on the roof.

    Thanks

I'm sorry, but for F***s sake you are the builder. The majority of contributors in here are self builders with no experience. I am one and the budget so far is right on par at builders finish. So surely you have a figure. 100k-200K Should be easily managable for someone who is doing the works them selves. A broad figure but you have no details included in your mail.
