Sky HD Box slowing internet

Recently upgraded to a Sky HD+ box and connected the phone line to it. For some reason whenever the phoneline is connected to the box my internet slows to a crawl. When I pull the phone line out of the box it speeds up again. Any ideas what it is doing this?

Do you have a DSL filter on the phone line for the Sky box? You need one.
