    Hey all,

I'm an electrician subbed into a company. I do work for them but they supply all goods, I'm only providing me, as a service so to speak. Should I charge them 13.5% or 21% on my invoices??

is the company involved in construction industry?

are you on a relevant contract?

if the answer to these questions is yes, then you don't charge vat and the principal contractor accounts for the vat.

Otherwise if you are labour only and not in a relevant contract, then it is 13.5% vat as you are not supplying any goods (as long as you have the turnover to be vat registered in the first place)
