Does anybody know if it is possible to access Part 1 exam papers/solutions online without registering for part 1?!! It may be a silly question but I am exempt and am just curious as to what the standard is in relation to my course..

If anybody knows any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks in advance

No you cannot access them without being a student

what course are you doing that you are exempt?

I was exempt from doing the aca and the part 1 material is well covered by the aca tax material.

The main difference in the part 2 and what you might have done if you have done accoutancy is the focus is on the legislation rather than the mechanical application of taxes

the legislation becomes your bible effectively from the part 2 onwards. questions are much more about the law than the calculations

pm me if you want me to email you a part 1 paper

Im doing Accounting and Finance in DCU, exempting me from 3 out of the 4 Part 1 papers but am currently trying to decide on the Master programme which will give the full part 1 exemption..

My main concern is the difference between studying Part 1 and being exempt and then jumping to Part 2!

    Thanks for your help :)
