I have some American visitors coming and they have expressed a desire to eat some Irish food. Since we'd be going out to eat, as we're going to be sightseeing, can anyone recommend a nice restaurant that would serve something you could call Irish, in Dublin?

The Winding Stair on Ormond Quay does modern Irish food.

The Pig's Ear on Nassau Street is another that should tick the boxes.
