    hello guys,
how do i can i get to limerick with Dublin bus.

As i am short of cash, i cant go with bus eireann.

Although i have a bus rambler that gives unlimited bus journeys.

I know its impossible to go take a bus from the city center to limerick in a stage.

could someone please tell mt the stages.

    thanks

Irishrail.ie have one way dublin limerick €10, there is 20% off on bargain alerts so you'll get it for €8. Online bookings only, and certain times. Don't think you'll get a bus for cheaper than that.

They have introduced a €2 charge for Laser cards and increased the charge for credit cards to €3. Bastards.

Edit - Bus Eireann and Kavanaghs are both €11 one way (€9.90 for Bus Eireann online)

Thanks for the reply guys is there not a way to Dublin bus from city centre to Kildare them from Kildare to somewhere else.
    Is it possible.

Dublin Bus serve the Dublin area. The rest of the country is served by Bus Éireann. You won't get far past Maynooth (distance wise, I know it's not on the way to Kildare) on Dublin Bus.

    Why don't you hitch?

Oops in a way i expected that.

I'm not into hitch hiking I've never done it before.
But there's always a first time.

it seems ill have to put this trip on hold ATM.

    Thanks for the help guys.

Well there are thousands of other forums on the internet to post in if anyone doesn't like the way this one is moderated. Personally, I have no problem with the moderators here and think they are doing a good job considering some of the stick they have to deal with.

Jebus lads what's the fuss over?

Thomas made a joke. At least I think it was due to the fact he placed a smiley after his comment.

IO, another Thomas, read it, and it would seem he thought it was a genuine comment, so he questioned it.

Maybe the two of them sorted it by pm since, but The Insect Overlord (who is not Limerick's sexiest man:P) always comes across as being the fair sort who seems to look and question first rather than just lock/ban.

Having said that, Vanhalla's pic did get a giggle out of me. :D
