Dog doing Business in One Spot

We have a small dog which does his business in the back garden, i have no problem with this as we trained the dog to go to back door and let us know when she needs to go.
The only problem is that she does her business in various places, is it possible to get her to do it in one particular spot.
    Thanks

Yes and very easily. When the dog wants to go toilet, put a shorrt lead on him, bring him to your desired spot, give a word like "Go potty!", then wait for as long as it takes, when he goes potty, lots of praise and feed treats and repeat the term as much as possible. Keep this up for a while and dog will get the message, then start giving trust without a lead, then eventually dog will go in same place.:)

Yes same as Galway K9. We did this with our GSD and she subsequently taught our other dogs......so dog poop in field not on lawn:D. VERY IMPORTANT to be positive only. Giving out or repramanding for "accidents" will just confuse and upset but making a big deal about how great they are to go to the right place is a win win.
